Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and student-focused Instructional Coach for Mathematics (Grades K–8) to strengthen math instruction across the district. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of effective math pedagogy, experience with data-driven coaching, and familiarity with Bluebonnet Learning tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with K–8 math teachers to support high-quality, standards-aligned instruction
  
  
• Model effective math teaching strategies and co-teach lessons when needed
  
  
• Use formative and summative data to identify instructional strengths and areas for growth
  
  
• Lead job-embedded professional development sessions focused on math content, pedagogy, and differentiation
  
  
• Guide implementation of math curriculum and resources, including Bluebonnet Learning
  
  
• Foster a collaborative coaching culture that builds teacher capacity and student success
  
  
• Support the district’s commitment to equity, rigor, and student-centered learning
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics
  
  
• Valid Texas teaching certification in Mathematics or related field
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching in math (K–8 level)
  
  
• Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentorship, or teacher leadership
  
  
• Deep knowledge of math content standards, curriculum design, and assessment practices
  
  
• Familiarity with or experience using Bluebonnet Learning programs and analytics
  
  
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
