Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Instructional Coach for Reading/ELA (Grades K–8) who will lead, support, and inspire our educators in best practices for literacy instruction. This role is key in strengthening our instructional capacity and student achievement across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers during PLC’s to plan, model, and reflect on effective literacy instruction aligned with state standards and district goals
  
  
• Analyze student data to inform instructional decisions and improve literacy outcomes
  
  
• Design and deliver high-impact professional development sessions
  
  
• Provide ongoing coaching, including classroom observations, feedback, and co-teaching
  
  
• Serve as a resource in the implementation of ELA curriculum(Bluebonnet, Amplify, Really Great Reading) and resources
  
  
• Support district-wide literacy initiatives and contribute to continuous school improvement efforts
  
  
• Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and Bold Gold pride
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education
  
  
• Valid Texas teaching certification in ELA/Reading or related field
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in literacy or ELA
  
  
• Strong knowledge of K–8 literacy standards, curriculum, and assessment
  
  
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in coaching or mentoring educators
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
